Every factor is adapted — with citation — from validated research (Guglielmino's SDLRS, Bishop & Bieschke's research self-efficacy work, the Cross-Cultural Adaptability Inventory, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, and more). Two factors, Grit and Wellbeing, are reused from the undergraduate APEX instrument and reframed for multi-year graduate timelines.
